Simply Blooming Grace

When I started writing almost a decade ago, I had a dream of becoming a Her View From Home contributor.

I remember submitting stories for several years.

Nothing.

No acceptance. No contributor opportunity. Just a lot of writing, waiting and wondering if the door would ever open.

Looking back now, I can see that God was simply teaching me to trust His timing. He also was strengthening my muscles. The more I wrote, the better I became at expressing myself in written form.

Then, at the LORD’s perfect timing, I was selected to become a contributor for Her View From Home.

It was absolutely one of those writing opportunities that meant more to me because I had wanted it for so long.

Since then, I have had the honor of writing for a community of women who share stories about faith, family, motherhood, marriage, everyday life and the moments along with those that shape us. Her View From Home has given countless women a place to share their voices and reach readers who may need to know they aren’t alone.

These aren’t just words on a screen.

Behind every story is a woman who has lived it. Some stories make you cry hard and others give you that deep giggle or relieving sigh that some other lady out there who I may never meet understands the seasons I’m walking in right now.

I have also had the privilege of being featured alongside women whose stories reach millions through Her View From Home and its social media platforms. Caroline and Leslie are some of the kindest people, and it is always a pleasure and an honor to have my writing featured alongside so many talented women writers.

Read my stories, of course, but don’t stop there.

Read the stories of the countless other women who have opened their hearts and shared pieces of their lives. You may find encouragement. I spent years hoping for the opportunity to become a Her View From Home contributor. Today, I am grateful for every story that has opened that door and for every woman who has trusted me enough to read them.
