I am forever thankful for those who support authors. Writing is a tough business, and no one knows the work behind a book better than those who love books. It is a massive undertaking to have a book published and edited. The financial return versus the emotional return tends to be lopsided.

In the absence of social media, although not ideal for preselling a book on a platform…

I have found myself picking up books again. Do you ever find yourself wondering how you ever gave up something you enjoyed so much, or whatever happened to the time to enjoy a simple book again? It’s food for thought. If we gave up investing in social media, how much more could we invest in our spouses, our families, and even ourselves? Giving something up might cost something in the moment, but what more could we gain?

I’ve invested in myself with a few recent reads, and a good book referral always made it easier to choose than being daunted the task of thousands upon thousands of titles. I’ll include those here for you that are looking for another book…and one for the kids we love!
