It’s true. I don’t want a fluffy friend.
I crave authentic, real friendship.
I had this conversation with a close friend this last week.
I called, because I knew I hadn’t done my best by her. We aren’t perfect people.
I felt honestly convicted and called her up to apologize—but before hanging up the phone I told her…
“Tiffany, I don’t want you to be a fluffy friend. Tell me straight always.”
She giggled and assured me that she would be a real, iron sharpening friend. I was so thankful to have a treasured comrade friendship like that in my life.
You can choose to be that for your friends too.
They need the real you every single time.
