My life is too short to be fake.
People in our lives need real, authentic hard stories enveloped in deep audacious love.
Sometimes that means setting boundaries so we don’t get eaten up by the comparison monster.
For some of us, that might include limiting our social media “friends.”
Comparison is indeed a monster. I’ve had to fight off that gnarly beast before— and I’d like to save my real friends the trouble. So, I simply removed myself from the problem.
I kept social media, but I set boundaries. The delete button was a big supporter!
Your life has such importance.
Your life has so much meaning beyond a screen.
Don’t let the joy of your week be stolen by comparison to someone else.
You are worth being loved. Period.
1 Timothy 6: 6 (New International Version)
But godliness with contentment is great gain
1 Peter 4:8 (New International Version)
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins
