One of the more controversial things we do as a family…
We don’t have anything to do with the status quo today.

…and if you know me, you know I love differently than most too.
Quite frankly, I’ve been through so much poop in my life…I just refuse anything that doesn’t remotely honor the Jesus who saved me.
I even had a baby on this day five years ago… the one day a year I did not want to have a child; but my husband reminded me that something so light would brighten up the darkest day. It was absolutely true— my five year old is one of the most joyful people I know.
Today, I will choose the brightest joy over many things…even at any cost of social scrutiny.
