Wednesday is November 1st! How did that happen!?
As your fellow friend in our awesome connecting bubbles, I feel inclined to squeeze your hand and gently remind you this crazy, simple truth: You can do it different this year.
- You don’t have to have a full schedule.
- You don’t have to play the comparison game of someone’s Christmas bonus to your own family; or the store bought entree to the homemade pumpkin pie champion at Thanksgiving.
- You don’t have to put more on your plate.
- You don’t have to spend money you don’t have in the budget.
- You don’t have to scroll social media to escape the gifting presents with your presence.
In fact, you never even have to start the self-inflicted hustle and bustle of stressful seasons ever again.
You control your response.
One of the most powerful and freeing things I’ve ever learned was it’s okay to live differently— honoring the LORD with my life should look different.
I love you too much for you to miss out on the joy the next two months brings, and blessings it could contain.
I’m thankful for this community and the joyful blessings of Christ.
Do it different. You’ll be glad you did.
