Simply Blooming Grace

The LORD has shown me over the years how beautiful all His creation blooms. Although, it should not come as a surprise—flowers are on the top of my favorites.

I love the vibrancy of color, the shapes, the smells… in a green house my heart is always light. The irony of it all is I do not have a green thumb— so my own flowers quickly fade. However, I enjoy the art and craft of my fellow gardeners abundantly more!

In my moments of doubt, struggles with negative self talk, or just feeling bleh… I can stand on the Truth of God’s Word in Matthew. The people around us are worth so much to The LORD… He fearfully and wonderfully made them too.

And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?
