In a world where your résumé, title, paycheck, responsibility, bandwidth, ninja skills, zip code, and social statuses define you— be desperate enough to ask the LORD to flip the switch for a moment…

I want to challenge you to take the time of playing a single worship song today.

Ask The LORD to flip the switch of your temporary lenses; and instead, replace them with His eternal viewpoint.

It’s a bold request; but your whole day will be changed— and you will walk out differently.

You don’t have to compromise your morality for humanity. You can freely do what Jesus called and made you individually to do in your designed present purpose.

Maybe, resetting and remembering that one, single clap of His favor is better than anything billions of people could celebrate and praise.

That’s powerful.

The world will never fill you, but He will.

His delightful singing will overflow your insides.

You’ll be able to be calm when chaos surrounded others.

You’ll be able to be humble when presented a choice of pride.

You’ll be able to be bold when others cower.

You will be able to wait, instead of manipulate.

You will be able to authentically love and forgive.

Jesus takes the pressure off in the workplace and the home. Flipping the switch does not minimize you, it maximizes the impact of your God given talents. Flipping the switch finally makes your work and daily home life matter.

Life is hard— and everyone struggles with pressures. Flip the switch. Your worldly statuses never define you.

1 Samuel 16:7 (English Standard Version)

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

Matthew 6:19-21 (New International Version)

Treasures in Heaven “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Isaiah 55:8-9 (New International Version)

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
