“How do you have time to write?”
The truth is I have to make time. Writing is one of my favorite things to do— I love creating teachable moments and sharing what the LORD is revealing to encourage myself and others daily. But writing was not the only thing I was made to release into the world.
I also was made to be a helper to my husband, Brook. I was made to make my kid’s beds— and create a peaceful place for them to escape the world to be filled up again. So as much as I ponder on the thoughts to pound away with pen ink, I trust the LORD to have me write what He wants me to write each day. I am actively trying to learn to let go and Let God.
We all have gifts and skills that were given to us by the most Creative Creator Himself; but He is so abundant in His giving that many have more than a single calling everyday. What is a way that you can trust Him with your time today?
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:”
